Yes you heard right, Georges St. Pierre has landed a villain role in the upcoming Captain America: Winter Soldier. According to Latino Review, Georges St. Pierre will play a villain by the name of Batroc the leaper. The role is perfect for the French Canadian mixed martial arts, fighter!
Batroc first appeared on Marvel Comic books in 1966 created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby, as a mercenary, master thief and smuggler. Batroc, a former member of the French Foreign Legion speaks both English and French. He is a physical specimen but has no superhuman abilities He is well versed in hand-to-hand combat and is an Olympic-level weightlifter whom has the ability to leap great distances with his powerful legs.
St. Pierre will star along with Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson, Samuel L. Jackson, Robert Redford and more. Captain America: The Winter Soldier is expected to hit theaters April 2014, sequel to the Captain America The First Avenger.
Georges St. Pierre is also scheduled to face of the No. 1 contender Johny Henricks, in the next bout, the date and location for the title bout has yet to be announced. For now GSP will take on Captain America on the silver screen!
