'Pacific Rim' New TV Spot

When alien monsters attack Earth, giant robots piloted by humans are created to fight off the chaos. "To fight Monsters we created Monsters!" Pacific Rim is an upcoming summer movie, directed by Guillermo Del Toro. Check out the new TV spot below:

The film compliments the Japanese “kaiju” (giant monsters) sub-genre, made popular by iconic franchises like Godzilla.  Having appeared from a dimensional portal deep within the Pacific Ocean, humanity fights back with giant robots called Jaegers. The robots are manned by two mind-linked pilots but at the center of this tale we find an odd-pair of pilots – a damaged veteran Raleigh Antrobus (Charlie Hunnam) and a novice Mako Mori (Rinko Kikuchi) – who must lead the fate of the planet with their obsolete Jaeger.

Official Movie Trailer:

Official Synopsis:
When legions of monstrous creatures, known as Kaiju, started rising from the sea, a war began that would take millions of lives and consume humanity’s resources for years on end. To combat the giant Kaiju, a special type of weapon was devised: massive robots, called Jaegers, which are controlled simultaneously by two pilots whose minds are locked in a neural bridge. But even the Jaegers are proving nearly defenseless in the face of the relentless Kaiju. On the verge of defeat, the forces defending mankind have no choice but to turn to two unlikely heroes—a washed up former pilot (Charlie Hunnam) and an untested trainee (Rinko Kikuchi)—who are teamed to drive a legendary but seemingly obsolete Jaeger from the past. Together, they stand as mankind’s last hope against the mounting apocalypse.

Marvel's Iron Man 3 New Trailer!

The new Iron Man 3 trailer reveals much more of the storyline than we have seen in the previous Iron Man 3 teaser trailer.

Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) is in a bit of a mess as you can see in the above trailer.  From the assault by The Mandarin (Ben Kingsley) to Tony and Rhodey (Don Cheadle) putting together an Iron Man Army, let's not forget to mention the unofficial Hulk Buster Design!

This trailer has to definitely get you to go watch the movie in theaters. Iron Man 3 looks like a well planned, action packed, emotion driven, edge of your seat kind of storyline.

J.J. Abrams Grants Movie Wish To Dying STAR TREK Fan

After reading this awesome story of director J.J. Abrams granting a dying fan the best wish, I had to share.  We all tend to forget of an incredible gift of giving we all posses, with the power of the Internet this all was accomplished. I will link to the story from CNET here. Please click on the link to read.

As another story comes across the Internet stating that Dan Craft has passed away.  New York's Subway Cinema reported on its Facebook page that he passed away on Friday night of complications from cancer.  He was a longtime supporter of Subway Cinema and the New York Asian Film Festival.

Last night around 10:15pm, Dan Craft, who has been a member of Subway Cinema since 2004, passed away. His wife and brother were with him when he went, and he wasn't in any pain. He'd been a bit loopy for a few days as his liver failed and toxins built up in his blood, and on Thursday his wife asked him if he needed to go to the bathroom. "I'm going..." he proclaimed, "Into the future."

See you there, Dan.

Dan Craft: 1971 - 2013

We miss you.

World War Z | Unleashes Zombies!

This week we get a full trailer for World War Z, unleashing a swarm of zombies.  World War Z is based on Max Brooks’ best-selling zombpocalyptic novel (World War Z: An Oral History of the Zombie War), which by the way this film is nothing like the book.

The movie revolves around a United Nations employee Gerry Lane (Pitt), who crosses many obstacles in the world in a race against time to stop the Zombie pandemic that is taking down armies, governments and threatening to decimate humanity itself. Check out the trailer below.

It looks to be as impressive and exciting in a way with a serious tone as one might hope for, let's just hope the story and script got worked out, and the movie goes well.

Marc Forster (Director), Brad PittMireille Enos, Daniella Kertesz , James Badge Dale, and Matthew Fox.
