Evolve: Happy Hunting | Official Trailer

From Turtle Rock Studios, creators of Left 4 Dead, comes a new multiplayer series, Evolve.  Where a team of four hunters are in pursuit of a giant monster, while facing other monsters as the giant waits.  "Who's hunting who?"  The four hunters face off against a single, player-controlled Monster in an high intense 4v1 matches.  You will be able to play as the Monster to use savage abilities and animalistic senses to kill your human enemies, or you can choose one of four Hunter classes (Trapper, Support, Assault, and Medic).  Team up to take down the beast on the planet Shear, where flora and fauna as a adversary to man and monster alike. Level up to unlock new Hunter or Monster Characters as well as upgrades, skins and perks.  You can earn your infamy on the leader boards and become the apex predator.  The next generation of multiplayer shooters is coming this Fall/Autumn 2014 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.

The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug | Official Main Trailer

The latest Hobbit trailer released the other day is by far the best one yet! With over two minutes of mostly new footage, this is our best glimpse of the movie, setting a darker tone than we had seen previously. 

The second in a trilogy of films adapting the enduringly popular masterpiece The Hobbit, by J. R. R Tolkien, "The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug" continues the adventure of the title character Bilbo Baggins (Martin Freeman) as he journeys with the Wizard Gandalf (Ian Mckellen) and thirteen Dwarves, let by Thorin Oakenshield (Richard Armitage) on an epic quest to reclaim the lost Dwarf Kingdom of Erebor.

The official trailer has dropped, featuring a little over two minutes of footage! This gave me the chills as I watched the trailer. Looks amazing!

Infinity Ward's Character Driven | Call of Duty: Ghosts

With Infinity Ward moving away from a major series of Call of Duty, Ghosts main focus will be character driven.  The teams working on Call of Duty: Ghosts  show interest in the single player aspect, calling it a much more "emotional" experience.  The team wants to keep the player involved while delivering story with the characters actions and those of the squad around him.  

Zach Volker, the lead animator on the team, tells The Guardian , “What we're trying to do this time is focus more on being a character with other characters, telling the story of how they experience the events. It's still a Call of Duty title so don't expect long cut scenes or anything like that.”  adding,
“We're not trying to make it an open-world game, and some levels will be more scripted and corridor-like. But there are levels that have been purposefully designed to be very open.”

Also with Stephan Gaghan to put together this story, a screenwriter best known for his work on films like "Traffic" and "Syriana," it will likely be more grounded than the "Modern Warfare" and "Black Ops" arcs.

The Official Call of Duty: Ghosts Reveal Trailer


Ghosts will take place in an entirely new timeline with a brand new set of characters. It is set in the aftermath of a catastrophe that has destroyed America as we know it.  A decade after the devastation, a band of ex-spec op soldiers known as "Ghosts" are waging guerrilla warfare against a currently unknown enemy.

Call of Duty Ghosts is set to be released November 5, 2013 for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, PC and for the XboxOne and PS4 when the consoles are released at a later date.

'Pacific Rim' New TV Spot

When alien monsters attack Earth, giant robots piloted by humans are created to fight off the chaos. "To fight Monsters we created Monsters!" Pacific Rim is an upcoming summer movie, directed by Guillermo Del Toro. Check out the new TV spot below:

The film compliments the Japanese “kaiju” (giant monsters) sub-genre, made popular by iconic franchises like Godzilla.  Having appeared from a dimensional portal deep within the Pacific Ocean, humanity fights back with giant robots called Jaegers. Dredd | Judgement is Coming!

As many of you might think the Comic book blockbuster summer movies are over, but I'm here to tell you that there is a project I have been meaning to write about.  This is a movie you might want to watch!

     
The return of Judge Dredd to the big screen is finally getting another shot after the 1995 film which starred Sylvester Stallone as the iconic 2000AD character. With Director Pete Travis remake and leading role Karl Urban (Judge Dredd), Olivia Thirlby (Judge Anderson), the film looks promising, especially with the promise that Judge Dredd won't take his helmet off.  Here is a quote by creator John Wagner on the Helmet worn by Judge Dredd made back when the Comic book was created:

"It sums up the facelessness of justice − justice has no soul. So it isn't necessary for readers to see Dredd's face, and I don't want you to."

Dredd based off John Wagner’s iconic comic book character, "is an American law enforcement officer in a violent city of the future where uniformed Judges combine the powers of police, judge, jury and executioner. Dredd and his fellow Judges are empowered to arrest, sentence, and even execute criminals on the spot. Judge Joseph Dredd is a fictional character whose comic strip in the British science fiction anthology 2000 AD is the magazine's longest running, having been featured there since its second issue in 1977."

Wreck-It Ralph Trailer

Now this trailer you need to watch! Yes, it has to do with an 8-bit video game adventure and I know many of you will recognize most of the gaming characters in this trailer. Disney's animated Wreck-It Ralph (John C. Reilly) is about a video game character that is tired of playing the "bad guy" who is overshadowed by Fix-It-Flex the "good guy." There are scenes set in worlds that look a lot like Halo and Mario Kart. "In one early scene Ralph is at a self-help meeting for video game villains right alongside Bowser, Kano from Mortal Kombat and one of the Pac-Man ghosts." It looks exciting, funny and had me laughing during the whole trailer. Now time to watch the trailer.

'Man of Steel' Trailers Released!

Two official trailers for the 'Man of Steel' released! Two separate trailers are from his adopted father Pa Kent (Kevin Costner) – 1st trailer and his biological father Jor-El (Russell Crowe) 2nd trailer.

The footage shown on the trailers, shows aspects of the Superman story, reflected in scenes where Clark travels the world as a man, listening to teachings about how we shape our destiny.

Man of Steel stars Henry Cavill (Immortals) as Clark Kent, a young journalist who was born Kal-El: a survivor of the fallen alien planet Krypton, transported to Earth by his parents Jor-El (Russell Crowe) and Lara Lor-Van (Ayelet Zurer). This is the new Taken 2 international trailer due in theaters in October 2012.  Liam Neeson is just amazing, the international bad ass! and I would say you agree.

Liam Neeson returns as Bryan Mills, the retired CIA agent with a "particular set of skills" who stopped at nothing to save his daughter Kim from kidnappers. When the father of one of the villains Bryan killed swears revenge, and takes Bryan and his wife hostage in Istanbul, Bryan enlists Kim to help them escape. Bryan then employs his unique tactics to get his family to safety and systematically take out the kidnappers, one by one.

This is the new trailer released for the remastered version of DOOM 3 of id software shooter for PC, Xbox 3, PlayStation 3. Doom 3 is a first-person shooter science fiction horror video game developed by id Software and published by Activision.
