Warframe Celebrates 1 Year Anniversary With Free DLC on PS4!

Warframe has celebrated their 1 year anniversary and with that comes free Downloadable content. 

For a limited time only, you can claim the "Dex Furis" weapon for PlayStation 4.  Developer Digital Extremes is giving the weapon of the Free to play shooter to players free of charge.

To claim the DLC, users must log into the game before April 21, 2014 and open the inbox message.

If you have a PS4 and have not tried this game, I highly recommend you give it a shot. We're talking Space Ninjas here! The game is phenomenal and graphics are amazing! Did I mention it is free? Check out the video below for more.

Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel | News

Yes! Announced a day ago, Borderlands The Pre-Sequel! For all you Borderland Fans, this game is currently being co-developed by Gearbox Software and 2K Australia, which will be available on PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC later this fall.

The game sets in between Borderlands and Borderlands 2, launching you to Pandora's Moon. With four all-new characters you'll fight alongside Handsome Jack, assisting with the rise of the Hyperion Corporation.

Evolve: Happy Hunting | Official Trailer

From Turtle Rock Studios, creators of Left 4 Dead, comes a new multiplayer series, Evolve.  Where a team of four hunters are in pursuit of a giant monster, while facing other monsters as the giant waits.  "Who's hunting who?"  The four hunters face off against a single, player-controlled Monster in an high intense 4v1 matches.  You will be able to play as the Monster to use savage abilities and animalistic senses to kill your human enemies, or you can choose one of four Hunter classes (Trapper, Support, Assault, and Medic).  Team up to take down the beast on the planet Shear, where flora and fauna as a adversary to man and monster alike. Destiny Beta Coming First To PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3

Bungie confirmed today the Beta test  for Destiny is set to launch first on the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4.  The studio released a trailer seen below to congratulate Sony on it's launch of the PS4 in North America. The trailer is part of Spike's PlayStation 4 all access event last night.

But do not worry Xbox One fans, the beta will also be released for Xbox 360 and Xbox One, but it'll be out on Sony's platforms first.  Just had to throw that in there.

Bungie did not release any further details as to when the beta test will be released.

Killzone: Shadow Fall | New Launch Trailer

Since Sony had announced the PS4 and all it's features, along with some new titles coming out for the console, they wanted to come out with a bang! With a new Killzone: Shadow fall being one of the highlights.  The new trailer teases some sci-fi shooter action scenes as well as it's mechanics.  Every single game in the series has shown off Sony's hardware, providing some of the best looking games.  If this trailer is anything to go by, it may be one of the amazing shooters when it launches along side the PS4.

Synopsis:
Set thirty years after the events of the Killzone trilogy, the world of Killzone Shadow fall is a very different place.  Forced together by circumstances, the two rival factions of the Helghast and the Vektans live side by side in a futuristic city, divided by a vast wall.

Infinity Ward's Character Driven | Call of Duty: Ghosts

With Infinity Ward moving away from a major series of Call of Duty, Ghosts main focus will be character driven.  The teams working on Call of Duty: Ghosts  show interest in the single player aspect, calling it a much more "emotional" experience.  The team wants to keep the player involved while delivering story with the characters actions and those of the squad around him.  

Zach Volker, the lead animator on the team, tells The Guardian , “What we're trying to do this time is focus more on being a character with other characters, telling the story of how they experience the events. It's still a Call of Duty title so don't expect long cut scenes or anything like that.”  adding,
“We're not trying to make it an open-world game, and some levels will be more scripted and corridor-like. But there are levels that have been purposefully designed to be very open.”

Also with Stephan Gaghan to put together this story, a screenwriter best known for his work on films like "Traffic" and "Syriana," it will likely be more grounded than the "Modern Warfare" and "Black Ops" arcs.

Ghosts will take place in an entirely new timeline with a brand new set of characters. It is set in the aftermath of a catastrophe that has destroyed America as we know it.  A decade after the devastation, a band of ex-spec op soldiers known as "Ghosts" are waging guerrilla warfare against a currently unknown enemy.

Call of Duty Ghosts is set to be released November 5, 2013 for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, PC and for the XboxOne and PS4 when the consoles are released at a later date.

New 'Deadpool' Game Characters | Psylocke And Mister Sinister!

Two new villains have been confirmed for the 'Deadpool' video game, Psylocke and Mister Sinister! The 'Deadpool' video game is set to be released June 25th 2013 from Activision and High Moon Studios with an increasingly extended cast of Marvel characters. So we know now of these two new characters which we can add to the list of what we have already gotten a look at, Cable, Domino and Death. 

Rob Liefeld is more than excited of bringing these characters in, stating on his website as "very exciting," and adding that Cable may not be the only X-Force veteran to appear in the game:

Another of my creations, Domino, debuted in my first issue of as writer of New Mutants #98. Word is that she'll be appearing in the Deadpool video game adding even more kick for your buck!

Call Of Duty: Ghosts | Reveal Date Leaked?

Brace yourselves, thanks to several leaks on the Internet, it looks like Activision might have a new title for the Call Of Duty Series, as seen on the leaked image above; Call Of Duty Ghosts.

The new title may have several big improvements and might even be announced as early as May 1, 2013, according to leaked image from a GameStop store which mentions that the new promotional material can be displayed. 

First, UK retailer Tesco listed Call Of Duty: Ghosts for PS3 and Xbox360 with the box art you see at the top, which dated the games 12/30/13, but is most likely a placeholder date (it's been now removed by retailer).  Then a leaked advertisement from Target states that the game will be released November 5th 2013. 

The listing also features credible box art bearing the Infinity Ward logo.  Meaning, this might be connected to the Modern Warfare franchise.  Infinity Ward worked on the popular Modern Warfare editions, as you look closely on the box art, it resembles a character worn by Simon "Ghost" Reilly, a popular character from Modern Warfare 2.  Could it be that the Modern Warfare title was dropped due to the out-of-court settlement and departure from Jason West and Vince Zampella?

While this is still in speculation, with no further details, this still stands as a rumor until otherwise confirmed.

Battlefield 4 will be released in the fall of 2013! This TV spot is incredible! Visuals and gameplay  look so believable and real, with so much detail and color! Battlefield 4: Prepare 4 Battle

These are the latest teaser trailers for the upcoming unofficially announced Battlefield 4.  Battlefield 4 will be formally announced by Electronic Arts and DICE at an event in San Francisco on Friday, March 27.

The game is expected to be released in October for the PS3, Xbox 360 and PC and then for the PS4 and Xbox 720 when those next-gen consoles are released.

  

Also the Battlefield 4 site was updated recently releasing two new images for an 'All Out War' theme (images below).  These images confirm that Russia and China will be playable groups.  So stay tuned for more information to be released on March 27th 2013, on the official announcement of Battlefield 4!

PlayStation 4 Announcement - In Case You Missed It!

Yesterday PlayStation announced their new console the PlayStation 4! After years of rumors and speculations, it is real and I'm glad it is.  I attached the PlayStation announcement video below in case you missed it! I have also included some key highlights below, imagine your friends’ faces as you “Pwn” them in real-time?! Now stop imagining, because it’s going to happen!

The PlayStation 4 is an advanced, x86-based (32-bit) personal computer, making it easier to develop for, solving a major issue with game developers as they do with the PlayStation 3. Sony is emphasizing ease over specs, following the trend of mobile technology. This console is packed with all the power you want!

The PlayStation 4 gives you the freedom of background downloading, something that some of the more powerful PCs do, allowing you to play the game before it’s even done downloading. That is something PCs have never done.

It features a touchpad at the top face of the controller, centered above the analog sticks. The PlayStation 4 camera tracks the players’ movements much like the Xbox Kinect, but it also tracks the controller and other objects in 3D space for an enhanced player experience.

"The online personality of the player has been upgraded to actual video, allowing you to say goodbye to avatars and digital characters in stead of showing the gaming community your true face. You’ll also be able to watch friends or “celebrities” play! You can also play your PlayStation 4 games with your PlayStation Vita. This will enable you to go mobile with your games wherever you can get a WiFi signal."

The only downside is that there will be no native PlayStation 3 backward compatibility. However, you can play them using your PlayStation Vita with Remote Play.

This Crysis 3 tutorial video demonstrates the features of the two gameplay modes available in the Open Beta: Hunter Mode and Crash Site. Hunter Mode is an intense competition of survival, with up to 12 heavily equipped troopers paired up against 2 permanently cloaked Hunters. Crash Site is survival-based gameplay reimagined, where two teams of players take control of random areas on the maps with the ability to use the environment as a weapon.

God of War: Ascension | Before He Was A God, He Was A Man

God Of War: Ascension is the seventh game of the series, and will be the first chapter in the series, forming part of a saga with vengeance as a central theme.  The game is a  third person action-adventure developed by SCE Santa Monica Studio and published by Sony Computer Entertainment (SCE). And the graphics look gorgeous!

The game will be set in Ancient Greece with the player controlling the protagonist Kratos. Kratos attempts to sever ties with the God of War Ares—who tricked Kratos into murdering his wife and child—by defeating the three Furies.

   
God Of War: Ascension will have the single-player feature with a "revamped" combat and weapon system, mini-games and new puzzles.  It will also offer a multiplayer feature for up to eight players, with a small story element. Players will be either on two teams of four, or alone, and will try to take control of a map in order to earn rewards from the gods. 

Synopsis:
Vengeance is born in the fires of betrayal in this prequel to the best-selling God of War franchise. Six months have passed since Kratos stood over the bodies of his wife and child, his hands stained with their blood - tricked by Ares into murdering the only people he ever loved. Swearing to avenge them, Kratos broke the blood oath that bound him to Ares, but oaths to Olympus are not so easily broken...
