Destiny Beta Coming First To PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3

Bungie confirmed today the Beta test  for Destiny is set to launch first on the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4.  The studio released a trailer seen below to congratulate Sony on it's launch of the PS4 in North America. The trailer is part of Spike's PlayStation 4 all access event last night.

But do not worry Xbox One fans, the beta will also be released for Xbox 360 and Xbox One, but it'll be out on Sony's platforms first.  Just had to throw that in there.

Bungie did not release any further details as to when the beta test will be released.

Call Of Duty: Ghosts | First DLC MP Maps Leaked!

Apparently according to some news articles and thanks to a glitch in the PC version of Call of Duty: Ghosts, the names of possible first DLC MP maps have been leaked.  Some names include Dome, Swamp, Battery, Red River, Rumble, Gaza and Boneyard.  

Due to a glitch in the PC version the new maps popped up in a players playlist Denkirson for a certain time called IW6 daily test. 

Since the launch of Ghosts last week, the game did not leave a great impression on some gamers that were disappointed, I being one of them.  But since then it seems the studio is working on a fresh set of maps for the games MP mode.  

But with that being said, it is a possible leak and no comments have been make by Infinity Ward.

Infinity Ward's Character Driven | Call of Duty: Ghosts

With Infinity Ward moving away from a major series of Call of Duty, Ghosts main focus will be character driven.  The teams working on Call of Duty: Ghosts  show interest in the single player aspect, calling it a much more "emotional" experience.  The team wants to keep the player involved while delivering story with the characters actions and those of the squad around him.  

Zach Volker, the lead animator on the team, tells The Guardian , “What we're trying to do this time is focus more on being a character with other characters, telling the story of how they experience the events. It's still a Call of Duty title so don't expect long cut scenes or anything like that.”  adding,
“We're not trying to make it an open-world game, and some levels will be more scripted and corridor-like. But there are levels that have been purposefully designed to be very open.”

Also with Stephan Gaghan to put together this story, a screenwriter best known for his work on films like "Traffic" and "Syriana," it will likely be more grounded than the "Modern Warfare" and "Black Ops" arcs.

The Official Call of Duty: Ghosts Reveal Trailer


Ghosts will take place in an entirely new timeline with a brand new set of characters. It is set in the aftermath of a catastrophe that has destroyed America as we know it.  A decade after the devastation, a band of ex-spec op soldiers known as "Ghosts" are waging guerrilla warfare against a currently unknown enemy.

Call of Duty Ghosts is set to be released November 5, 2013 for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, PC and for the XboxOne and PS4 when the consoles are released at a later date.

New 'Deadpool' Game Characters | Psylocke And Mister Sinister!

Two new villains have been confirmed for the 'Deadpool' video game, Psylocke and Mister Sinister! The 'Deadpool' video game is set to be released June 25th 2013 from Activision and High Moon Studios with an increasingly extended cast of Marvel characters. So we know now of these two new characters which we can add to the list of what we have already gotten a look at, Cable, Domino and Death. 

Rob Liefeld is more than excited of bringing these characters in, stating on his website as "very exciting," and adding that Cable may not be the only X-Force veteran to appear in the game:

Another of my creations, Domino, debuted in my first issue of as writer of New Mutants #98. Word is that she'll be appearing in the Deadpool video game adding even more kick for your buck!

Nuketown Zombies' Bonus Map Available For Xbox 360!

    
The Nuketown Zombies map is available today, but only for Season Pass holders on the Xbox 360. As of right now Activision does not have a release date for either the PC or PS3, or an announcement about purchasing the map individually.

Call of Duty Black Ops 2 Zombies Update!

The Official call of duty site has posted an image related to zombies which contains a woman carrying a shotgun and holding a zombie head in her hand.  What do you think this means? If it means there is a woman character, I am more than excited, but before jumping to conclusions we would have to wait until the Official Zombies trailer.

Black ops 2 zombies had been confirmed by Treyarch studio head Mark Lamia. “If you like zombies you’re going to be really happy with what we’re doing with Black Ops 2″ Mark Lamia said and he added “it is the biggest most ambitious zombies ever”. Black ops 2 zombies mode will be another game entirely.

Confirmed Info about Black ops 2 zombies:

- 8 player Co-op and 4 Vs 4 Team matches.
- Maps will be bigger.
- There will be female characters.
- Nuketown 2025 to be the preorder bonus map.

Deadpool Video Game Announcement!

This year at San Diego Comic Con 2012, the new Deadpool Video Game announced at Marvel's video game panel.  Let's just say Deadpool stole the show! Now if you are not much of a comic fanatic, Deadpool is one of Marvel's funniest character, a mutant with healing powers and known as the 'Merc With A Mouth'. Marvel Studios together with Activision and High Moon Studios announced the trailer with a comic appearance by Deadpool himself.



While High Moon Studios prepared to talk about a Hit-Monkey game in development, shouts from the back of Hall H were heard as Deadpool busted the doors open yelling "Boring!" Deadpool followed by a camera crew let loose with so many jokes, in fact that he was a hologram and that he shot Tupac. Deadpool then told fans to go to www.deadpoolgame.com to see the website that he made "After three months in community college." Then after demanding to replay the trailer one more time, he got  on top of the table, yelled "That! Just! Happened! Mic Drop!" dropped his mic, and left the room to an amazing loud applause from the audience.

DOOM 3 BFG Edition Debut Trailer

This is the new trailer released for the remastered version of DOOM 3 of id software shooter for PC, Xbox 3, PlayStation 3. Doom 3 is a first-person shooter science fiction horror video game developed by id Software and published by Activision.

Reveal Trailer - Official Call of Duty: Black Ops 2

                                                                                                                                                       
Originally released yesterday, May 1, 2012 during the NBA Playoffs, Black Ops 2 World Premier trailer.  Confirmed by Activision, Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 will be released November 13, 2012.  It takes place in the year 2025, and is a direct sequel to Call of Duty: Black Ops. Hero Alex Mason is back but most of the action will be centered on Mason's son David.  As you see an Elderly Frank Woods whom we thought was dead, will be our bridge between the future and the past.  A what is a hero without a villain? Well yes, a new bad guy is entering the scene, Raul Menendez. He is determined to pit nations against one another and has taken control of some of the U.S.'s technology, and has pit a drone fleet against the U.S.

With new futuristic weaponry, and more zombies here are some of the highlights to look forward to:

• Multiplayer changes: Developer Treyarch has promised to examine all aspects of the multiplayer experience and build a game that is balanced for a wide variety of players, but specific examples or features have yet to be announced.

• eSports: Although no specifics have been discussed, Treyarch has promised that the game will be both competitive and fun to watch.

• Social Media: Social media will be implemented in the game, although the details haven't been given yet.

• Zombie Mode: Zombie mode will return, although in what form, we don't know yet. According to Treyarch, Zombies will be "Back in a big way."  Treyarch promised it will be "the most ambitious zombies offering we’ve done."
  Strike Force missions allow players to "zoom out" on the battlefield and engage in RTS style play, directing troops and vehicles, and then hopping into them to engage in on-the-ground fighting.
  "Among the most interesting new innovations that will be featured in Black Ops 2 is the additions of a branching storyline in the single-player campaign. The game's story presents large and small choices at different times, and, according to Activision, the the plot will hinge on the choices you make and the outcome of battles you choose to fight. Call of Duty® Black Ops 2 Confirmed!

Edit Update: What we have learned so far is yes, Call Of Duty Black Ops 2 has been confirmed! Yes go ahead and read that sentence again. All we know is, it has a release date of November 13, 2012. So be ready to watch the World Premiere on May 1st during the NBA playoffs for more information. Yes you read that right, another Call of Duty® game is getting ready to be revealed.  It is very exciting but not surprising to many people all over the world.  According to Call of Duty® Official website, there is a new countdown timer set to reveal something big during the NBA playoffs on May 1st via TNT.

With all the Call of Duty® series, its possible that  2012 will see the launch of the next CoD title, developed by Treyarch.  Many believe Treyarch is working on a sequel to 2010's immensely successful Black Ops, but until we know the official news, we all have to wait until May 1st.  

Activision Donates $3 Million to the Call of Duty Endowment ¦ C.O.D.E

After Activision made $400 million in the first day of Modern Warfare 3‘s release, Activision has donated $3 million to the Call of Duty Endowment. The Endowment has provided over $1.5 million in grants and scholarships to numerous organizations and colleges throughout the United States, which have contributed to more than 700 veteran jobs, more than 2,500 veterans receiving job training and more than 30 receiving scholarships.
Bobby Kotick, CEO of Activision Blizzard, said:
"The fact that over 20 percent of our nation’s youngest veterans are unemployed is unacceptable. These are the very same men and women who put their lives on the line to guarantee our freedom and security. Veterans Day is a time to reflect and renew our commitment to ensure our military heroes have the tools to reintegrate successfully back to civilian life. The Call of Duty Endowment is dedicated to the mission of bringing attention to veterans’ unemployment and finding a solution to this serious issue. We hope that other businesses and organizations will join us."
I couldn't agree more with that statement. It's unacceptable to have our Veterans unemployed. So I hope more organizations and businesses join in this effort. The Call of Duty Endowment will provide a $250,000 grant to the U.S. Chamber of Commerce’s National Chamber Foundation to support the "Hiring our Heroes" program, and to also help host hiring fairs in 25 cities nationwide in 2012.  Kevin Schmiegel, Vice President of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Veterans Employment Program, said:
"The National Chamber Foundation is committed to the issue of helping veterans find meaningful employment. Since we launched the Hiring our Heroes program in March of 2011, the Chamber has conducted 63 hiring fairs and connected over 55,000 veterans and military spouses with over 2,500 different employers in 37 states. To date, more than 3,400 veterans and spouses are employed as a result. The grant from the Call of Duty Endowment will allow us to greatly expand our efforts in 2012—we thank them for their support."
