'Riddick' Teaser | You're Not Afraid Of The Dark, Are You?

After a years of waiting, we finally have a teaser trailer for all 'Riddick' fans! Since the first release dating back thirteen years from the movie 'Pitch Black', a fan favorite, there was some highs and lows for the following sequel 'The Chronicles Of Riddick' which failed to satisfy the box office. But, Diesel never gave up on the third film as he would hint on ideas he might pursue.  Then, back in May of 2011, Vin had confirmed a start date for the production of a film simply titled 'Riddick.'

The teaser does not show much but here is the recent synopsis below:
The infamous Riddick has been left for dead on a sun-scorched planet that appears to be lifeless. Soon, however, he finds himself fighting for survival against alien predators more lethal than any human he’s encountered. The only way off is for Riddick to activate an emergency beacon and alert mercenaries who rapidly descend to the planet in search of their bounty. The first ship to arrive carries a new breed of merc, more lethal and violent, while the second is captained by a man whose pursuit of Riddick is more personal. With time running out and a storm on the horizon that no one could survive, his hunters won’t leave the planet without Riddick’s head as their trophy.

Star Trek 2 - Gorgeous Teaser!

We finally have our first real look at the next adventure in Star Trek Into Darkness... and it's a super epic one!

The above teaser trailer shows Cumberbatch “one man weapon of mass destruction”, with his powerful voice over accompanying an imagery of destruction, fear, and the iconic Enterprise crashing into the surface of Earth.

Although story details have remained under the radar and top security, (well as I like to think so) what we do know thanks to the official Star Trek Into Darkness plot synopsis, the crew of the Enterprise will be pitted against Benedict Cumberbatch’s after Starfleet suffers a major blow.
In Summer 2013, pioneering director J.J. Abrams will deliver an explosive action thriller that takes ‘Star Trek Into Darkness.’ When the crew of the Enterprise is called back home, they find an unstoppable force of terror from within their own organization has detonated the fleet and everything it stands for, leaving our world in a state of crisis.

With a personal score to settle, Captain Kirk leads a manhunt to a war-zone world to capture a one man weapon of mass destruction. As our heroes are propelled into an epic chess game of life and death, love will be challenged, friendships will be torn apart, and sacrifices must be made for the only family Kirk has left: his crew.
Star Trek 2 full trailer releases next week with The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey. Moviegoers who check out The Hobbit in IMAX will get to see a 9 minute preview.

Deadpool Video Game Announcement!

This year at San Diego Comic Con 2012, the new Deadpool Video Game announced at Marvel's video game panel.  Let's just say Deadpool stole the show! Now if you are not much of a comic fanatic, Deadpool is one of Marvel's funniest character, a mutant with healing powers and known as the 'Merc With A Mouth'. Marvel Studios together with Activision and High Moon Studios announced the trailer with a comic appearance by Deadpool himself.

While High Moon Studios prepared to talk about a Hit-Monkey game in development, shouts from the back of Hall H were heard as Deadpool busted the doors open yelling "Boring!" Deadpool followed by a camera crew let loose with so many jokes, in fact that he was a hologram and that he shot Tupac. Deadpool then told fans to go to www.deadpoolgame.com to see the website that he made "After three months in community college." Then after demanding to replay the trailer one more time, he got  on top of the table, yelled "That! Just! Happened! Mic Drop!" dropped his mic, and left the room to an amazing loud applause from the audience.

Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues Official Teaser

For those that spent their weekend watching Sacha Baron's comedy "The Dictator", then you were among the few that got a glimpse of the official teaser trailer for "Anchorman 2" in which it does not even have a finished script yet! Now for those that did not, here it is!

Anchorman co-writer/director Adam McKay previously stated, with regards to when the sequel will take place:  “It’s right when all the news started changing with the 24-hours news cycle in ’78 or ’79. All of a sudden, local news stations diversified and had Latino anchors and African-American anchors, and any time you’re talking about diversity and the Action News team, that’s always fun to deal with.”

The original film’s main cast (Will Ferrell, Paul Rudd, Steve Carell and David Koechner) are back playing their respective Anchorman persona's.  We are also expected to see, Christina Applegate return as crusading anchorwoman Veronica Corningstone. Additionally, the sequel should boast many a celebrity cameo.

'Total Recall' Futuristic Teaser Trailer!

This is the first teaser trailer for 'Total Recall' released today featuring Colin Farfell and Kate Bekinsale. Let me just say that this is one movie I am anticipating to watch for the year 2012. As you may recall (see what I did there) in a leaked Comic Con tease that disguised as a TV promo, we all now have the first footage from the upcoming 'Total Recall'.

Even though the footage is too brief, this 'Total Recall' promo only teases on greater things to come! Watch at 00:16 seconds, look at that gear... I can only begin to imagine, as I know you are too. "This film promises to feature a better mix of sci-fi philosophical content and more action than your average sci-fi movies nowadays." - Screen Rant

Total Recall is scheduled for theatrical release in the U.S. on August 3rd, 2012.

Sunday (April 1st), is when the film’s full teaser trailer is scheduled to be released online.

The Bourne Legacy Trailer

The Bourne Legacy first new trailer has been released which looks to be an interesting teaser.  First lets clear some confusion on this movie.  It is not a continuation of the storyline from previous 'Bourne' movies, nor a reboot of the franchise.  Instead it is a different story of another programmed Treadstone assassin Aaron Cross (Jeremy Renner).  So think of it as the same organization, but a different story of a different agent.

In the trailer there is one concern, that 'Cross' is a more "Stable" programme than 'Bourne.'  Maybe stable meaning under the strict direction of the organization.  Even though in the previous films, as I remember 'Jason Bourne' was the most deadliest programme produced by Treadstone.  Either way I like the assassin Arron Cross (Jeremy Renner) portrays.  Perhaps we have to wait to watch the film to see how it all makes sense.  All in all, I feel many of us will be curious on how 'The Bourne Legacy' relates to all prior films.

Synopsis:  The narrative architect behind the "Bourne" film series, Tony Gilroy, takes the helm in the next chapter of the hugely popular espionage franchise that has earned almost $1 billion at the global box office: "The Bourne Legacy." The writer/director expands the "Bourne" universe created by Robert Ludlum with an original story that introduces us to a new hero (Jeremy Renner) whose life-or-death stakes have been triggered by the events of the first three films.

For "The Bourne Legacy," Renner joins fellow series newcomers Rachel Weisz, Edward Norton, Stacy Keach and Oscar Isaac, while franchise veterans Albert Finney, Joan Allen, David Strathairn and Scott Glenn reprise their roles.

Release Date: August 3, 2012

Starring: Jeremy Renner, Rachel Weisz, Edward Norton, Albert Finney, Joan Allen, Scott Glenn, Stacy Keach, Oscar Isaac

'Wrath of the Titans' Trailer: More Swords and Fantasy Violence!

The new teaser trailer for Wrath of the Titans, sequel to the 2010 Clash of the Titans  remake takes place a decade after the events of Clash of the Titans, where an older Perseus (Sam Worthington) fights on behalf of the Gods.

This definitely has a much more action packed,  fantasy violence, true Titan feel to it!  Director Jonathan Liebesman expressed a desire to make the mythological sequel as more of a "truly grounded, down n’ dirty swords and sandals fighting, epic film."

Synopsis:
Dangerously weakened by humanity’s lack of devotion, the gods are losing control of the imprisoned Titans and their ferocious leader, Kronos, father of the long-ruling brothers Zeus (Liam Neeson), Hades (Ralph Fiennes) and Poseidon (Danny Huston). The triumvirate had overthrown their powerful father long ago, leaving him to rot in the gloomy abyss of Tartarus, a dungeon that lies deep within the cavernous underworld.

Perseus (Sam Worthington) cannot ignore his true calling when Hades, along with Zeus’ godly son, Ares (Edgar Ramírez), switch loyalty and make a deal with Kronos to capture Zeus. The Titans’ strength grows stronger as Zeus’ remaining godly powers are siphoned, and hell is unleashed on earth. Enlisting the help of the warrior Queen Andromeda (Rosamund Pike), Poseidon’s demigod son, Argenor (Toby Kebbell), and fallen god Hephaestus (Bill Nighy), Perseus bravely embarks on a treacherous quest into the underworld to rescue Zeus, overthrow the Titans and save mankind.

Hell-bent on payback, the crew cuts a swath of destruction through opposing forces, wreaking havoc and shutting down an unexpected threat in the nick of time -- six pounds of weapons-grade plutonium; enough to change the balance of power in the world.
