True Story 'Pain and Gain' Official Trailer

Who's ready to go to the gym? I mean the movies? Michael Bay's 'Pain & Gain' is a new film based on a true story.  The story follows a group of bodybuilders who engaged in a campaign of kidnapping, extortion and murder in Florida, first told in an article from the "Miami New Times."  But the bodybuilding trio schemes goes terribly wrong.

Directed by Michael Bay, starring Mark Wahlberg and Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson.

Transformers 4 | Mark Wahlberg's Confirmed Role

It's official, Mark Wahlberg will star in Transformers 4! After weeks of rumors and Internet craze over Wahlberg's involvement on Transformers 4, Michael Bay confirmed it, having the rumors partially convincing him to make the offer.

Here is Michael Bay's official comment on Wahlberg’s casting:

“Mark is awesome. We had a blast working on ‘Pain and Gain’ and I’m so fired up to be back working with him. An actor of his caliber is the perfect guy to re-invigorate the franchise and carry on the ‘Transformers’ legacy.”

After Michael Bay previously claimed that Transformers 3: Dark of the Moon would be his last. It was a ride on a Universal Studios roller coaster that convinced him the fourth time would be the charm.  Also, along with the casting announcement comes a reveal of the film’s logo treatment, (top of page) it’s still missing a subtitle. It's unknown if Paramount will stick with the ’4′ or come up with a better one later.

The darker sections of Transformers: Dark of the Moon were the main problems for some people. But now with Wahlberg attached to the role, the first member of the completely new cast of humans and robots, T4 might notably set a different tone than those that preceded it.

Michael Bay's 'Ninja Turtles' Reboot & Aliens?

 
According to an article by Bleeding Cool, Michael Bay's title for the upcoming reboot Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles will be 'Ninja Turtles.' They went ahead and removed Teenage from the title and by doing so, they then removed Mutant as well.  Watch the video below as Michael Bay talks about the Ninja Turtles being of an Alien race.  Now I am sure that many Turtle fans will not be happy with this.  What do you think?

"When you see this movie, kids will believe one day that these turtles do exist, when we’re done with this movie. These turtles are from an alien race, and they’re going to be tough, edgy, funny and completely loveable."

With so much more information to be revealed, removing “Teenager” of TMNT, would probably be so that it will tone down the aspects of the property, resulting in a more modernized film. I am not sure if throwing out a good chunk of the original franchise will just ward off longtime fans, and not convince newcomers to give this reboot a look. 

With all the outrage it is causing by many long time fans, we are still a long ways from the release of the film (Christmas Day 2013), so for that reason I'll refrain from saying if this film will be a disaster or a brilliant must see.
